Soups recipes
Soup is considered to be the best healthy food during sickness. Preparing soups is simple as it takes just around 15 minutes to cook. You can use ginger to enhance the taste of the soup and improve your health.

Vegetable soups recipe:

Pumpkin Soup recipe

  • 1 teaspoon canola oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg or cloves
  • 4 teaspoon. Minced fresh chives for garnish (optional)
  • 1 Granny Smith apple, peeled
  • Cored and coarsely chopped 1 leek, white part only
  • Finely chopped 5 cups fat-free
  • reduced-sodium chicken broth 1 sweet potato peeled, halved lengthwise, and cut in 1/2-inch slices
  • 1 can (about 16 oz.) puréed pumpkin
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

How to prepare
Take a pan and heat oil at medium heat. Add the Granny smith apple and leek to the pan and soften it for around 4 minutes. Add sweet potato, pumpkin and spices to the mixture and cook till potatoes and apple become soft for about 20 to 25 minutes. Transfer the soup in a blender or a food processor. The soup is ready and you can fill it in six bowls. Garnish each bowl with chives if desired.


Tomato buttermilk soup recipe

  • Pepper -1/8 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - ½ teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1/8 teaspoon
  • Buttermilk - 1 or ½ cup ( as per desired)
  • Tomato soup - 1/3 or 1 cup
  • Sour cream - 1 oz
  • Chilli powder - ½ teaspoon
  • Dried parsley - ½ teaspoon
  • Garlic powder - ½ teaspoon

How to prepare

In a small pan add tomato soup, buttermilk, chilli powder, garlic powder, olive oil, pepper and dried parsley. Heat the mixture thoroughly and serve it with 2 TBL sour cream sprinkled with 1/8-TSP paprika.


Chicken Soups recipe

Chicken Noodles soup recipe

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 3 medium carrots, cut into 1/4-inch rounds
  • 3 celery ribs, cut into 1/4-inch thick slices
  • 1 (6- to 7-pound) chicken
  • 2 quarts chicken broth or canned low-sodium broth
  • 1 quart cold water, or as needed
  • 4 sprigs of fresh parsley
  • 3 sprigs of fresh thyme or 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 bay leaf
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 cups egg noodles
  • Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish

How to prepare
Take some oil in a pan and heat it. Add the onions, carrots and celery ribs and cook till the mixture softens for around 10 minutes. Add the chicken to the mixture and add water to cover the ingredients by 2 inches. Bring the mixture to boil under high heat. Add the parsley thyme and bay leaf. Remove the chicken from the pot and set aside until it is cool enough to handle. Remove and discard the parsley and thyme sprigs and bay leaf. Wait for around 5 minutes and degrease the soup, reserving the fat if you are making matzo balls. Remove the chicken skin and cut it into small pieces. Add the pack of noodles and cook for another 10 minutes. Stir the meat back into the soup and season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve hot.


Vegetable juice recipe

Carrot juice recipe

  • 2 lbs carrots
  • 5 cups water
  • 1 cup condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon finely grated nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

How to prepare
Scrape outer skin of carrots Cut carrots into chunks and blend (puree) it with blender. Pour through strainer into container Keep juice & discard pulp in strainer Add condensed milk & vanilla. And mix (add more or less condense based on your taste)


Almond Milk recipe

  • 1 Part Almonds
  • 4 Parts water

How to prepare
To activate almonds, soak overnight, pour off water. Take Almonds and water and blend for around 3 minutes.


Healthy heart butter recipe

  • ½ cup Unsalted butter (cut in 8 pieces)
  • 2 tbl Sunflower oil
  • 1 tbl Olive oil
  • ¼ Linseed oil (cold pressed)

How to prepare
Combine all the mixture and blend it in a food processor for around 3 minutes. Once the mixture is properly blended mold it in 2 bowls and store it in the freezer. For baking and sauteing substitute olive or canola oil for the linseed oil.
