The DaVinci Code unknown. A suck book. Resulted in a horrible movie.
Even before the The Da Vinci Code debuted on May 17 at the Cannes Festival, protests from Christian organizations around the world condemned it for distorting history and undermining the church. Since they completely disagree with the contents, these people refuse to even enter the cinema, and they want to make sure no one else does either. But a controversial novel is a best-selling one, and hard-core fans of Dan Brown are excited about the movie.
You may have heard that the polytheist Romans were quite capable of killing monotheist Christians in the name of their own gods centuries before Christians were in any position to be killing anyone. According to Teabing, however, it was Christian atrocities against pagan Romans — not vice versa — that prompted the Emperor Constantine to decriminalize Christianity. Imagine a popular thriller based on the version of history set forth in The Protocols of the Elders of Zionwith a secret cabal of Jewish leaders conspiring to destroy Christianity and establish a global government to rule the world.

Laura: How dark the con of Ron. Even Paul Bettany's "Wimbledon," "Firewall" career low performance as the albino killer monk, Silas, becomes quickly tedious rather than unwittingly entertaining. When he's called to the murder scene by Captain Fache Jean Reno, "Hotel Rwanda," "The Pink Panther"Langdon does not see the trap about to snap, but he's pulled from danger by Sophie Neveu Audrey Tautou, "Amelie"a police decoder and the dead man's estranged granddaughter.
But its robust international grosses made it the No. Maybe Audrey Tautou will re-think her rash decision to quit acting now. We hope the cute French actress is getting a nice share of the profits.
This is such a shame. Controversy aside, I think Ron Howard has delivered some pretty good flicks. Howard usually turns out a reasonably competent product though.

The Bible has been under attack in the western world for over years but never more intensely than today. These attacks have taken different forms and have come from many different corners of the academic world, from philosophers, to scientists, to textual critics. In the specialized world of archaeology the attacks have increased dramatically in the past 50 years.
